Objective

As a new business initiative, our client envisioned a SAAS product that would give their clients flexibility and convenience—something that would offer continuous, on-demand access to the research content.

Solution

Stream is made up of 3 distinct parts:

Content production
CMS for Stream staff
Web-platform for users

Each part needs to be reliable and scalable, so we designed the content production process using the latest technology to leverage the existing processes of Mosaic. React, JS, and Django (Python) power the CMS and user-facing interfaces. And the web-platform is now hosted behind the elastic load balancer at the Amazon Web Services infrastructure in Kubernetes.`
