What are cookies?

We take a minimal approach to cookies and tracking. Here is what our site uses:
Essential — cookie consent preference
We store your cookie consent preference in your browser's localStorage under the key productera-cookie-consent. This is technically not a cookie — it is a local storage entry that remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. It simply remembers whether you have accepted or declined our consent banner so we don't show it repeatedly.

Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for website analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregate data about how visitors interact with our website, including:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Traffic sources and referral data
- Device and browser information
- Geographic region (country/city level)
Where prior consent is legally required — the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. Elsewhere, analytics loads by default and you can turn it off at any time using the Manage cookies control in our footer, which is on every page.
Where analytics is switched off — because you declined, because you are somewhere we wait for your consent and have not received it, or because your browser sends Global Privacy Control — Google Analytics still loads but runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device. It still sends Google a basic, cookieless request that includes what your browser provides with any web request — the page address, the referring page, and your IP address.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a standing opt-out and analytics stays off. We honour it in every region, not only where law requires it. The one exception is a preference you have set here yourself, which takes precedence over the signal — use Manage cookies to change it.
No advertising or third-party tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing, personalisation, or social media tracking pixels. The advertising signals Google Analytics supports are set to denied for every visitor and are never changed.
